With this article, we summarize and analyze two directions in cinema adaptation: one with positive view and the other with negative view. In the negative view, we analyze and discuss ideas of researchers like Virginia Woolf, Drieser, Charles Newman. In the positive view, we discuss the ideas of those like Linda Hutcheon, Brian McFarlane, Robert Stam, Nguyễn Nam. From this view, we have our own understanding and analysis to prove for this right and scientific view. |
